Overnight Oats with Chia

Prep the night before and wake up to a thick, creamy oat and chia seed breakfast, topped with whatever fruit the season offers.

Ingredients

  • 100g rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 300ml oat or almond milk
  • 150g natural or coconut yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Seasonal fruit (mango, berries, banana)
  • Toasted coconut flakes and granola

Method

  1. Combine oats, chia seeds, milk, yogurt, honey, and vanilla in a jar or container.
  2. Stir well and seal. Refrigerate overnight or a minimum of 6 hours.
  3. In the morning, stir and add a splash more milk to reach desired consistency.
  4. Top with fresh fruit, granola, and coconut flakes. Serve cold.
