Hop-Infused Lemonade

Real-squeeze lemonade infused with whole hops flowers for a floral, slightly bitter edge that makes it the most refreshing drink of the summer.

Ingredients

  • 200ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (6-8 lemons)
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 15g whole dried hops flowers
  • 600ml cold water
  • Ice and lemon slices
  • Fresh mint to garnish

Method

  1. Make hop syrup: bring 200ml water and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat, add hops, steep 15 minutes. Strain and cool.
  2. Combine lemon juice with cooled hop syrup.
  3. Top up with cold water and taste, adjusting sweetness.
  4. Serve over ice with lemon slices and mint sprigs.
