Beer and Honey Bundt Cake
Golden amber ale and wildflower honey give this beautifully domed bundt cake a complex, floral sweetness with a delicate bitterness.

Ingredients
- 240ml amber or golden ale
- 4 tbsp wildflower honey
- 225g unsalted butter, softened
- 300g plain flour
- 200g light brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Method
- Preheat oven to 175C. Grease a 10-cup bundt tin very thoroughly with butter and dust with flour.
- Beat butter, sugar, and honey until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time.
- Sift flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Add alternately with the ale, beginning and ending with flour.
- Pour batter into the tin and bake for 50-55 minutes. Cool in tin for 15 minutes before turning out. Drizzle with a honey glaze to finish.
